Cambodia's Ministry of Economy and Finance recently issued Prakas 496, establishing a capital gains tax (CGT) regime in Cambodia. The scope of the new CGT regime is worldwide, so investors residing in Cambodia should familiarize themselves with the new CGT in order to facilitate efficient tax planning.
